This morning at 8:45 a.m., Paycom hosted a ground breaking ceremony to officially kick off the construction of their new headquarters in Oklahoma City. The ceremony took place on the grounds of the future Paycom campus, located on 14 acres on Memorial Road between Rockwell Ave. and Council Road. With an estimated completion date of July 2011, the brand new 90,000 square foot building will have the capacity to house 450 employees on three floors with a full underground basement housing the data center.

“We’re thrilled to be able take this next huge step towards shaping the future of our company,” said CEO Chad Richison. “This expansion means exciting new opportunities for both our employees and our customers.”

Richison thanked the members of the Economic Development Trust, the City of Oklahoma City and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber for assisting with the incentives needed to make the headquarters a reality. He also recognized the members of the architectural design team from HSE Architects and the construction team from Clyde Riggs Construction Company.

Paycom recently qualified for $4.5 million from the state of Oklahoma through the Quality Jobs program. Paycom is hiring around 20 new employees each month with plans to add at least 400 jobs over the next three years. Jobs include positions in sales and business development, client support and general headquarter administrative positions. Pay ranges from about $30,000 annually to more than $100,000.
